CHALLENGES

  • Tight deadline – logo had to be completed within two weeks of receiving materials to meet customer’s deadline coinciding with primetime televised game
  • Squaring the circle – orienting a logo of squares and square lettering on an oval shaped roof
  • Logistics – completed in busy “downtown” area of Miami which limited use of equipment to get materials to the roof

FUN FACTS

  • Completed in front of a “live studio audience” – the logo can be seen from the surrounding high-rise apartment and office buildings; many days, the crew worked under the curious eyes of the stadium’s neighbors
  • A total of (5) different colors had to be mixed, included three slightly different shades of blue, for the logo – more than any other logo we’ve installed
